Calendar is clearly man made and not natural. Years like 2011, and days monday to sunday are not natural creations. natural creation is day, night, summer, winter, spring. so then what is the point of new year celebration? earth is 4.5 billions year old. does it make any difference if you just consider new year day another day as usual?

No, it’s not an invention. Time is as real as space. In fact, the two are connected together.

Calendar is based on our planet going around the Sun, day is based on our planet making a whole rotation on its axis. These things happened ven before humans existed.

How can the universe exist without time? It can’t. Time was here all along, we’ve just invented ways to measure it.
